Description
(Winter seasonal position, PT/FT shifts available) Rental Technicians are responsible for sizing and fitting guests with proper ski and snowboard equipment and providing excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Issue proper and well-fitting rental equipment to guests.
- Adjust equipment settings in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Inspect equipment for damage, malfunction, and compatibility.
- Process returned equipment and store it in the appropriate locations.
- Be knowledgeable of the range of equipment offered.
- Answer guest questions in regard to rental procedures, the ski area, and Resort operations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist guests with boot selection and proper fitting
- Obtain current binding certifications for companies carried in the shop
- Issue proper equipment according to training, information given and customer's request
- Adjust equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specification
- Uphold Pajarito Mountains policies and procedures
- Effectively and enthusiastically answer guest questions in regards to ski area, rental procedures, and/or equipment
- Retrieve and return equipment from various locations in rental shop
- Inspect snowboards, skis, bindings, boots, helmets and poles individually for damage, malfunction, and compatibility
- Ability to lift weights of up to 20 pounds overhead
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods without sitting
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Possess excellent teamwork skills
