What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at MOUNTAIN CARE PHARMACY?
Purpose:
Oversee and execute cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep, for all units, including storage, for all Mountain Care Pharmacy buildings to ensure safety and functionality, according to company policies and procedures. Responsible for ordering, organization, special events set up and clean up. Oversee and follow through on needs related to security, parking, cleaning, catering, and IT (internally).
Experience/Education:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Be at least 18 years of age.
· Must be an Idaho Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician (or be willing to get one). This process includes a Criminal Background Check.
Essential Functions:
· Executing tasks on the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning lists. Update lists as needed.
· General maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, workstation set up, modifications to facilities as directed by the Admin Team
· Keep track of the Admin Events and Activities calendar to identify needs for event set up/clean up/execution, ie: decorations, order food, clean and reorganize spaces before and after meetings/events
· Ordering for, filling, maintaining, and assisting employees as needed with vending machine.
· Order, put away, organize, and maintain supplies and storage areas, including storage units, as needed
· Assist with Technician duties as requested by Operations Supervisor for emergency coverage needs or to fill hours
· Service with a smile
· Follow all HIPPA regulations and rules.
· Any and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager or as circumstances dictate.
· Perform all tasks in a safe manner that is consistent with company policies as well as state and federal laws.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours.
· Must be able to lift and push or pull up to 50lbs.
· Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as need to execute all cleaning tasks.
Other skills and abilities include:
· Have typing skills of at least 30 wpm.
· Pass a drug test.
· Maintain information confidentiality
· Offer flexibility in work hour scheduling.
Hours:
Full-time employees work approximately 40 hours per week. Pharmacy hours are 9am-6pm. It is expected that all staff stay until all tasks for the day are complete.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
