Mountain Cement Company, a subsidiary of Eagle Materials is seeking a qualified Maintenance Dust Collector Repairman. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing dust collectors including replacing filters in the baghouses.
Requirements for this position include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to follow Company safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to learn plant operations, equipment location, and where to lock out equipment.
- Good mechanical ability and aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction from supervisors.
- Have basic tools and complete the tool list in 90 days.
- Basic welding ability.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of air flows and air displacement.
- Knowledge and understanding of baghouse and dust collector operation of all types, i.e., pulse, jet, plenum pulse, etc.
- Understanding and knowledge of bag fabric for correct application.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot baghouse and dust collectors for proper operating conditions.
- Ability to change solenoid valves.
- Ability to pass stack opacity certification.
- Ability to maintain all baghouse/dust collector records.
- Have the willingness to work unscheduled overtime and off shifts when necessary.
NOTE: This is an extremely physical job, requiring 8 - 12 hours (occasionally more) of strenuous work and the ability to maneuver throughout the plant quickly when required (this requirement cannot be sacrificed).
Salary : $30 - $31
