About the Role
As a Psychiatrist with MCHP, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients in need of psychiatric evaluation and management. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including behavioral health providers, peer support specialists, medical and clinical colleagues, and site coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing psychiatric evaluation and management services to patients, particularly those enrolled in the Coordinated Specialty Care-First Episode Psychosis Clinic, WeCare2.
- Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Evaluating and treating patients within the scope of training, capabilities, and license criteria.
- Abiding by relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing the practice of medicine.
- Contributing to the promotion of MCHP's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements
- A current, unrestricted NC Medical License.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- An active DEA with no restrictions.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of First Episode Psychosis patient presentations.
