We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide compassionate and high-quality outpatient psychiatry services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our team-based approach, providing psychiatric evaluation and management to individuals enrolled in our Coordinated Specialty Care-First Episode Psychosis Clinic, WeCare2.
This program treats adolescents and young adults aged 15-40 in the early stages of psychotic disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatry services to our patient population
- Work closely with behavioral health providers, peer support specialists, medical and clinical colleagues, and site coordinators
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on patient care and treatment plans
- Evaluate and treat patients within the scope of training, capabilities, and license criteria
- Abide by CMS standards and all federal, state, and local laws regulating the practice of medicine
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NC Medical License
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Active DEA with no restrictions
- A minimum of three years' experience in a clinical setting
