Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) Aide
PURPOSE: Performs a variety of responsibilities to aid in the TRP’s
daily operation.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the TRP staff with the daily group process.
- Assists with daily preparation and organization of materials and supplies for TRP activities.
- Assists with custodial duties in the program.
- Accompany clients to activities in the community.
- Drive agency vans to meet daily requirements for program.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other Agency professionals.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all standards for quality of care for clients. This includes, but is not limited to, treating clients with respect, maximizing continuity of care, seeking supervision as necessary, arranging for coverage for periods of absence, and maintaining all professional ethics.
Be knowledgeable of, and adhere to, all MCCC policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Shall be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Must have a high school diploma, or general equivalency diploma (GED), or qualifying documentation from a comparable educational entity. Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of and personal experience with public mental health services. Strong reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to communicate with others in a professional manner.
