Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.
How the Banquet Server works with the Team:
Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up for an event, providing food service and attending to the needs of guests. The ideal candidate should have experience as a server and enjoy working with large groups.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Greet and thank each guest in an enthusiastic, professional & timely manner
- Serve the guests selections in a manner that is consistent with Mountain Creeks policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean work area
- Ability to fully setup and break down all functions
- Properly store, inventory, and handle all banquet equipment such as plates, utensils, and props
- Provide a positive employee experience, earn customer loyalty, mutual respect and continuously striving to be the best
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager
- Provide our guests with the information necessary to make a dining or drinking choice by performing a menu tour
- Be knowledgeable about the techniques used to prepare our food and drink products
- Serve to our guests our food products following all safety procedures
- Complete daily opening and closing checklists
- Ability to follow proper dining etiquette in terms of table setting, table service and table bussing
- Present a well-groomed image and wear the appropriate uniform and name tag at all times when on duty
Team Member Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous banquet or serving experience a plus
- Professional, mature, and friendly demeanor
- Must have knowledge of basic cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be on feet for extended hours and carry large food trays
