Job Summary:
We are seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team. As a Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating departmental activities under the Service Department Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and be proficient in office management tasks.
JOB DUTIES:
Answering of multiple phone lines
Dispatching service technicians to meet customer needs
Assist in Service Department invoicing
Assist in data entry for Bookkeeping
Assist in pulling state and municipal permits
Schedule power companies as needed
Print weekly time sheets for Bookkeeper
Print daily AP for entry
Maintain files as directed my Operations
Assist with collections
Assess the service needs of clients and link them to appropriate resources and providers.
Assist with facilitate housing, transportation, and other services regarding out of town work.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to customers.
Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status.
Responding to any issues that occur during the delivery of services.
Tracking clients' service records.
Staying up to date on any services being introduced or discontinued.
Communicate the quality of all services and identifying areas that need improvements.
Following up with clients regularly to assess and ensure their satisfaction.
Staying up to date with services, policies, and regulations.
Ensure repair and maintenance requests are being handled according to expectations and with necessary urgency
Keep the office supply and kitchen areas stocked
Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Assign and dispatch electricians or technicians to job sites based on skills, location, and urgency of service requests.
Optimize resource allocation to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with technicians and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve service-related problems promptly.
Escalate complex issues to management when necessary and follow up to ensure resolution.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall service quality.
