General Purpose
Under the CFO's direction, the Controller oversees daily finance, accounting and payroll operations. This role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash, and financial statement preparation in line with GAAP. The Controller supervises the Accounting and Payroll teams, handling hiring, training, performance evaluations, and morale. They set performance standards and establish monitoring systems to ensure staff meets the organization’s needs.
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree required.
2. Five or more years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting systems, payroll processing, and financial planning and analysis required.
3. This experience should include supervisory and/or leadership duties.
Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 annually; DOQ
