Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental health. Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic is a charitable care clinic serving the uninsured living or working in Sevier County.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide a range of dental services including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, dental prosthetics, and extractions.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring all medical imaging and dental terminology is properly documented.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
