What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher, K-6/ EOY (24-25) position at Mountain Island Lake Academy?
For all Instructional positions hired with a start date AFTER February 28, 2025, the position will end as of June 12,2025.
The elementary teacher provides support to the instructional process by serving as the classroom leader with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas. The person in this position develops lesson plans and delivers group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborates with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues. This person also responds to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
