We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk/Patient Care Coordinator to join our Mountain Kids Pediatrics team at a new pediatric clinic in Hamilton. We are expanding our care to the Bitterroot Valley with a new satellite clinic location in Hamilton. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within our medical office environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using office management software.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered, insurance, and billing processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical coding standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
- Assist with general office management tasks as needed to support the clinic's operations.
Skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare clinic or medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus.
