Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve providing age-appropriate activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring the well-being of each child. Duties:
- Create a safe and engaging environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with potty training and personal hygiene routines
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- First aid and CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to create a structured and stimulating environment for children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
