The Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the Payroll Manager with processing payroll, entering payroll data, calculating wages, and verifying tax withholdings. This position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency in data entry. The ideal candidate is a team player with good communication and basic math skills.

- Enter and update payroll information accurately.
- Collect and verify employee timekeeping records.
- Process payroll and calculate wages, bonuses, and other adjustments.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain electronic and paper payroll records.
- Generate payroll reports as needed.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries.

Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Past experience in payroll is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong data entry and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- Basic math skills and understanding of payroll processing.
- Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
- Ability to pass Federal and State Exclusions Screening.
