About the Role:
As an HR Assistant, you’ll be crucial in maintaining HR systems, ensuring compliance, processing invoices, and responding to employee inquiries. You’ll act as the first point of contact for HR-related matters and collaborate with a dedicated team to drive efficiency and success.
What You’ll Do:
HR Administrative Support
- Manage the HR email inbox, redirect inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Organize and distribute mail, saving and acting on critical documents appropriately.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and assist with document workflows.
Compliance and Reporting
- Conduct monthly exclusion checks and ensure staff certifications and licenses are current.
- Respond to Verifications of Employment (VoEs) in a timely and accurate manner.
Invoice Processing
- Process name tags, invoices, and continuing education reimbursements weekly.
- Collaborate with accounts payable to code background checks and health-related invoices properly.
HR Systems and Project Management
- Update SharePoint sites within five business days of changes.
- Implement workflows in Paylocity to enhance document management.
- Assist with HR projects, including improving ticketing systems and organizing files.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in HR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of SOP development and project management.
- Previous experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.

Pay Range: $17 - $20 hourly
