About the Job :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver essential nursing services while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Responsibilities :
- Provides direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of clients under the supervision of a registered professional nurse, while always maintaining the assurance of client safety and following unit and facility policies and procedures.
- Assists in relevant health and psychiatric teaching for client and family. Serves as a role model for clients and peers.
- Safely and accurately performs vital signs, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy / labs, and diabetic / glucose monitoring. Interprets results and takes appropriate nursing action.
- Prepares, administers, controls and accurately records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed practical nurse, with thorough documentation regarding administration effect and / or adverse effects.
- Observes, documents, and communicates with / reports to the R.N. in charge any clinical, physical, unit or personnel, or other issues which could alter client care.
