The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with coffee producers, cooperatives, and exporters globally.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, sustainability practices, and reliability.
- Forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Work closely with roasting, product development, and marketing teams to ensure the coffee offerings align with brand and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to evaluate coffee samples through cupping and grading.
- Ensure all coffee purchased meets company quality standards and specifications and Promote fair trade, organic, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Ensure suppliers comply with ethical labor practices and environmental standards.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers to secure the best value.
- Manage procurement budgets and optimize costs while maintaining quality.
- Monitor global coffee market trends, including pricing, supply chain risks, and emerging coffee regions and Visit coffee farms and production sites to assess crops and build relationships.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the company on market conditions and Present sourcing and quality updates to stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management or related field
Required Qualifications:
• 3 - 5 Years Experience in coffee sourcing, purchasing, or related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in data analysis and supply chain management tools
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel internationally as required.
• Passion for coffee and knowledge of the coffee industry.

• Combination of office-based and fieldwork activities.
