This position comes with great responsibility, but also great flexibility. It is a great opportunity for a local nurse looking to get out of bedside hospital care and have a more flexible day including start times, end times, breaks, days off, etc.
Working in conjunction with the Executive Director, the Director of Wellness (RN/LPN) duties include, but not limited to:
- Care planning and assessments
- Ensure all Washington regulations are met and remain in compliance and cultivated in our environment
- Ensure employee satisfaction is high with servant leadership style
- Provide residents with the medication regime as ordered
- Provide oversight to CNA/HCA staff including counseling, training, education, supervison, etc.
- Be able to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Provide proper documentation of all nursing and healthcare services
- Assist with admissions and discharges
- Supervise, evaluate and assist in the training of caregivers and med techs
- Shares on-call responsibilities with other licensed staff/Department (average of 2-3 nights on call, but flexible self scheduling)
- Supervises and MUST be able to do direct patient care if staffing warrants it.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a valid license to practice nursing as an RN/LPN in Washington State or eligible for reciprocity
- Must have current CPR and first aid certification
- Ability to provide nursing services to the elderly while supervising a diverse staff
- Proven servant leadership style which provides support and growth.

This is a full-time salaried position with comp time provided when indicated.

Pay: $28.00 - $43.00 per hour
