Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing individual who shares our values to join our team as a Medical Equipment Delivery Specialist. You will be responsible for delivering and setting up DME in patients homes, performing routine maintenance, processing orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.

- Occasional Weekend/Holiday On-Call: Infrequent emergency deliveries may be required; this responsibility is shared among the department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver & Set Up Equipment - Safely transport and install durable medical equipment in clients homes, ensuring proper operation and patient understanding.

2. Troubleshoot & Maintain - Conduct routine maintenance, inspect equipment for malfunctions, and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.

3. Order Processing - Accurately process and update orders in our Brightree database.

4. Documentation - Maintain clear, detailed records of deliveries and service requests.

5. Equipment Care - Clean, disinfect, and organize equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.

6. Vehicle Maintenance - Perform daily pre-trip inspections, keep the delivery van stocked and clean, and report any vehicle issues promptly.

7. Collaboration - Effectively communicate with team members and delegate troubleshooting issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Qualifications

- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

- Driving Record: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

- Experience: DME experience preferred but not required; familiarity with Brightree is a plus.

- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations; experience with Transport Ace on a tablet is beneficial.

- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.

- Reliability: Consistent work history reflecting dependability and accountability.

Compensation & Benefits

- Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE); approximately 40 hours per week.
