Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across the national market
- Oversee sales teams and give guidance on sales strategies and processes
- Motivate individuals and teams to reach goals utilizing sales projections, actual revenue and other metrics
- Analyze market trends and identify sales opportunities for different regions or territories
- Develop annual sales budgets, monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Manage relationships with key accounts such as home care companies, hospitals and clinics
- Understand customer needs by providing product information, demonstrations, negotiating contracts, pricing and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the durable medical equipment (DME) industry including attending industry conferences, participating in networking events and staying updated on industry developments
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze sales data, gather customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline processes and drive sales growth
Qualifications
- Managed a national sales team before or had responsibility for sales in a large region
- Successful track record of people management
- Experience in durable medical equipment preferred
