Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Manage and coordinate patient care, including case management and follow-up.
- Perform sterile processing and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer tube feeding and monitor patients for any complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care in hospital medicine settings.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to manage psychiatric conditions as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with an active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a Level I Trauma Center.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and hospital protocols.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
