What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part - Time Shipping/Receiving Motorcycle ATV Powersports position at Mountain Motorsports, LLC?
This is a part-time position less than 130 hours per month.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage all incoming and outgoing parts, accessories and logistics in a clean and efficient manner for Mountain Motorsports while living up to our core standards and mission statement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including but not limited to the following.
- Understand and reinforce the Mountain Motorsports mission statement. Greatly exceed expectations. We do the unexpected, we achieve excellence through teamwork and we constantly improve.
- Efficiently receive all incoming parts and accessories while reporting any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
- Manage the cleanliness of all parts storage areas. Complete ownership of this is key.
- Assist the Parts Manager as requested in inventory related functions such as cycle counts, organizing returns, and re organization of the storage areas.
- Quickly work with vendors to solve issues such as receiving discrepancies, back orders, miss-shipped parts, and return allowances.
- Efficiently receive all incoming parts and accessories while reporting any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
- Regular attendance during store hours is required to receive and process inventory.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Language Skills to include the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to use computer software programs to complete daily tasks.
Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Making judgments in emergencies. Making decisions on facts and on judgements.
Education Requirements 1 to 3 years related experience and or training with documented previous performance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular attendance during normal scheduled store hours including the ability to work 9 hours per day and the ability to work weekends.
- Frequent standing, walking and sitting
- The ability to work in a high stress environment and the ability to work under tight deadlines which may require longer/later hours as needed.
- The ability to continually engage and interact with others, including clients and employees throughout the work day via various methods of communications including phone and computer usage.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Occasional pushing of up to 100 lbs

- Occasional exposure to changes in temperature and humidity.
- Frequent working with and around others.
- Occasional work around mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Occasional work around moving objects, (including dogs and other service animals).
