Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, technical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace components in equipment.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Schedule, coordinate and conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Inspect buildings, structures, and equipment to identify necessary repairs.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
- Orders and distribute equipment for staff.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience with logic controllers and troubleshooting automated systems.
- Basic welding skills a plus.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
