Job Title: Security Guard – Campground
Job Description: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our campground guests and property. The ideal candidate will be proactive, friendly, and able to handle various security-related situations. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring campground premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety
- Patrolling the campground regularly, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter potential security issues
- Responding quickly and effectively to any emergencies, incidents, or disturbances
- Assisting guests with safety concerns and providing guidance as needed
- Conducting routine checks of campground facilities, including restrooms, cabins, and common areas
- Maintaining accurate logs of security activities, incidents, and interactions with guests
- Collaborating with campground staff to address any security or safety concerns
- Enforcing campground rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful and safe environment
- Ensuring the proper handling of security equipment and systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras
Qualifications:
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
