Job Title: Store / Ice Cream Clerk – Campground
Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Store / Ice Cream Clerk to join our campground team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling ice cream, maintaining the store’s cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving ice cream to campers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operating the cash register, processing payments, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Stocking shelves, keeping the store organized, and ensuring all products are properly displayed
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking ice cream, snacks, and other store items as needed
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and ice cream station
- Providing customers with information about campground activities, products, and local attractions
- Ensuring a positive and engaging atmosphere for campers
- Enforcing health and safety standards for food handling and sanitation
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, cash reconciliation, and restocking
- Handling customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Friendly, approachable attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
