Locating and Mapping Consultant

Responsibilities:
Drive a company-sponsored vehicle to job sites to perform line locating services
Utilize various technologies to accurately locate and map crude, gas, saltwater, freshwater, underground electrical and communication lines
Communicate location of utilities with paint, flagging, mapping, verbal correspondence and written documentation. Map and document utilities using survey grade GPS equipment.
Utilize multiple technology platforms to manage workload and communicate findings
Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure safe work habits
Qualifications:
Problem-solving perspective
Basic knowledge of well pad components
1-2 years-experience in Utility Locating, preferred
Knowledge in GPS Mapping
Data and Record Management
Valid Driver’s License with clean record
Proficient computer and technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must pass pre-hire, post-accident and random drug/alcohol screening
Ability to self-manage and communicate with supervisors and clients
An ability to multitask, manage and adapt to changing work environments
