Schedule may vary, although our kitchen is only open from 6am to 7pm daily, so you're always home at a decent hour!

Drug testing and background check required.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Ensure that all food safety protocols are followed during meal preparation, storage, and service.
• Help set up dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning up after meals (including dishwashing).
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
• Provide support to residents during meal times, ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Participate in training sessions related to food service practices and culinary techniques.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards residents and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a kitchen setting.
• A passion for helping others and contributing positively to the well-being of residents through meal service.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
