We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated officials to join our team at Mountain Recreation. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for officiating various youth sports events across the district.
About the Role:
- Apply a deep understanding of game rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Work collaboratively with other officials, coaches, and parents to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere.
- Stay focused and composed under pressure, making sound decisions in real-time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and interpret game situations, applying fair and consistent judgment.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to players and coaches during events.
- Promote a culture of respect, sportsmanship, and integrity among participants and spectators.
Requirements:
- A minimum age of 14 years old.
- High school graduation or equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school.
- One year of experience with specific sport rules and regulations, along with safety guidelines.
