What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Surg Tech Float Pool position at Mountain Region Corporate Support?

The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN. Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.
What is Enterprise Pool?
Enterprise Pool 2:
- Base rate $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
- Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 4 hospitals assigned within that zone.
- PRN: 15% PRN Differential - Not eligible for benefits
- Full Time/Part Time: Benefits eligible based on FTE eligibility
- Required Experience:
- 1 year minimum of hospital surgical tech experience, required
- Basic computer skills, required

High School Diploma or GED, required
- Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program, required.

Required Licensure/Certifications:
- Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado.
- Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association
