Administrative system leader that focuses on providing strategic direction and operational oversight of
Sterile Processing and high-level disinfection (HLD) practices.
Strategic leadership over Sterile Processing and HLD practices across the region.- Develops strategic plans and translates strategy into operational actions.
- SPD subject matter expert.
- Sets organizational priorities and allocates resources related to SPD/ HLD.
- Impacts the business results of a department by supporting projects, products, programs, services and or technologies.
- Utilizes resources in ways to improve strategic impact of operations.
- Support and help provide oversight of the full continuum of Sterile Processing and HLD practices
- Provides leadership and education to perioperative and SPD managers and professional staff.
- Is accountable for overseeing quality improvement processes for SPD and HLD.
- Establishes system goals, plans, and standards related to Sterile processing and HLD.
Schedule: 40hrs /week - M-F 0800-1300
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 5 years of sterile processing experience.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Knowledge of all regulatory guidelines and standards of practice as it relates to AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA

CRCST or CSPDT Certification
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management (IAHCSMM).
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) required within 1 year of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
