About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Management Professional to lead and integrate our Skin Health and Wound management program.
- Oversee durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and management.
- Maintain national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or commit to complete Advanced Wound Training within 1 year of hire.
This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of nursing home regulations, and survey processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and team-building abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Skin Health and Wound Management Program Lead: Collaborate with nursing center management to develop and implement a comprehensive skin health and wound management program.
Durable Medical Equipment Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for wound prevention and management equipment.
National Accredited Certification: Maintain current national accredited wound certification or commit to complete Advanced Wound Training within 1 year of hire.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
- Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management.
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey processes.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, and PowerPoint skills.
