Description of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our Housekeeping team at Mountain Ridge Health & Rehab. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring clean and safe flooring in our facility. This includes performing routine maintenance, such as sweeping and mopping, as well as deep cleaning and restoring floors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all flooring in the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Strip and wax hard floors as needed.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery.
- Remove stains and spots from floors.
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
- Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Floor Tech or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
