Responsibilities
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and recipes
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and assistants
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Manage inventory control and food costing
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal offerings
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Understanding of food management principles
- Leadership abilities to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
