Duties
- Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals following established recipes
- Ensure food quality meets the highest standards
- Collaborate with the dietary department to plan menus that meet dietary needs
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Utilize culinary skills to create visually appealing dishes
- Assist with meal preparation and service
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, stoves, ovens, and grills
Skills
- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques
- Knowledge of menu planning and dietary requirements
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Culinary expertise in various cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong knife skills for food preparation
- Experience as a cook or dietary aide is a plus
