Job Description:
We are looking for a Field Office Manager who is passionate about playing a critical role in the maintenance and growth of our organization. The ideal candidate for the role is a self-motivated, flexible problem-solver who has superb communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Effective multitasking and a unique ability to handle the unexpected are essential for success in this position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage clerical tasks including data entry, document preparation, and filing for assigned projects.
- Accurately track and enter paper timesheets for payroll processing. Support human resources functions including onboarding new employees in the field.
- Proactively and effectively communicate with team members, NMDOT, subcontractors, and vendors to foster positive relationships and complete project goals.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timeline.
- To be onsite within the State of NM for the duration of the project

Requirements for Consideration:
Must have
· High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of a year of business experience as an office manager, administrative assistant or similar role. Construction experience is a plus
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
· Required to travel the state of NM
· Good driving record
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
