Job Title: Leasing Specialist II
Job Type: Full Time
Reports To: Property Manager
Location: Seasons at Traverse Mountain
Job Summary:
The Leasing Agent position at Mountain States Property Management works with potential renters to view and contract our various properties. This position requires an elevated level of communication and interaction with future and current residents of our properties. The Leasing Agent greatly impacts the success of our business and is vital to our team.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Respond to leads in a timely manner ensuring the highest level of customer service

Shows rental units relaying property specifics to potential renters

Inspection of units for move ins and move outs

Generates leases to be reviewed and signed by renters

Makes and directs appointments with leads for tours of properties

Ensure that all steps necessary are taken to close work orders

Complete all tasks assigned on time and in a professional manner

Help ensure that the office runs smoothly

Assist with responding to emergency calls when needed
Skills:
-
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-
Experience in sales preferred

Proficient in MS word and excel with the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Understanding of leasing techniques and negotiation skills

Highly organized and detail oriented

Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
-
Be able to adapt to new situations and be an active problem solver.
Experience and Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
1-2 years related experience, preferably in leasing
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
-
Ensure good physical hygiene with a clean and professional image

Qualifications
Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years related experience, preferably in leasing or sales strongly preferred
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in MS word and excel with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Highly organized and detail oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Twisting, bending, stooping, walking, reaching over you head
- Carry up to 50 lbs
- Being able to work in in-climate weather, rain, heat, cold, wind snow
- Ensure good physical hygiene with a clean and professional image
