Pub Manager
Lead the Front of House team at Mountain Tap Brewery! This hands-on role will have you leading the charge of day to day operations in the FOH while working directly with owners to achieve short and long-term business goals. Job Requirements:
● Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
● Strong leadership skills.
● 2 years of management experience and Point of Sale knowledge a plus.
● Ability to interact positively and enthusiastically with guests, co-workers and owners.
● Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
● Ability to adhere to all company policies and ensure policies are upheld by all staff and guests.
● Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
● Must possess a strong understanding of all local, state, and federal health orders and ensure MTB remains compliant.
● Must be well kempt and ready for work at the scheduled time of each shift.
Responsibilities:
● Create and post weekly schedules for FOH staff in an organized and timely manner.
● Create and maintain relationships with new and regular guests.
● Oversee and participate in all training of new FOH staff members.
● Support owners with guest inquiries through calls and emails.
● Maintain clear and consistent communication with all employees and owners.
● Manage in the moment and make independent decisions guided by MTB policies and culture.
● Actively participate in FOH employee recruitment.
● Hold FOH staff accountable to owner and management expectations and provide coaching as necessary.
● Ensure that all steps of service and SOPs are adhered to by all FOH staff on a daily basis.
● Consistently provide hands on assistance for all FOH staff with all FOH duties.
● Assist servers with comps, voids, transfers and general Point of Sale functions.
● Check out servers at the end of shifts; reconcile end of shift reports.
● Complete all closing duties and ensure building is properly closed and secured on a nightly basis.
● Exceed guest expectations by providing a high level of service in a fun, fast paced environment.
● Be knowledgeable of all Mountain Tap Brewery menu items as well as general brew processes.
● Maintain professionalism at all times with co-workers and guests.
● Represent and uphold Mountain Tap Brewery’s brand as defined by owners.
Compensation:
$26-$32 per hour DOE
End of season bonus based on hours worked
Complimentary shift meal.
$50 monthly house account.
