Donor Relations Specialist
Schedule: Full-time, Flexible, Occasional Evening and Weekends

Position Overview:
The Donor Relations Specialist is a key part of our philanthropy team, responsible for grant writing, donor engagement, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience in fundraising, and a passion for connecting donors with meaningful giving opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Develop and implement strategies for donor engagement and stewardship to cultivate long-term relationships.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, including donor recognition and community outreach activities.
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to align donor engagement efforts with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate donor records and track donations and pledges.
- Create communications and reports to update donors on the impact of their contributions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing, event planning, and donor relations, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative and strategic thinking with a passion for building relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
