An Excellent Opportunity
Mountain Valley has an opening for a Registered Nurses to work on-call in the Mt Airy service area. In this position you will respond to patient calls that are received after business hours. Support may be in the form of telephone triage or face-to-face visits depending on the needs of the patient. While you are not performing your nursing tasks you could be doing things like watching movies at home, finishing household chores, or finding things to do around town.
Duties
- Responds to calls from patients, families, caregivers
- Provide direct nursing and supportive care for the terminally ill patient
- Perform late day admissions and tuck-in visits.
- Recognize, report, and document changes in patient/client condition
Schedule
Friday 5p-8a, Saturday 4p-8a and Sunday 4p-8a
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
