We are looking for an individual with experience as an executive director of a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility or hospice inpatient unit. The person in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of Mountain Valley’s two Inpatient Units and ensures continuity, cost effectiveness, quality of operations and regulatory compliant care to hospice-eligible patients. The Woltz Hospice Home is a 20 bed unit, and the SECU Hospice Home is a 6 bed unit.

Duties
- Provide leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met, and the highest degree of quality care is provided at all times.
- Work in collaboration with the Assistant IPU Nursing Director in the planning, directing, and evaluation of clinical nursing practice delivered on the units.
- Responsible for financial performance and management of all business operations of the facility.
- Manage and provide service recovery for all patient/family issues and/or concerns.
- The Director will have 24-hour accountability for IPU services and will share on-call responsibility with designee(s).
- Bachelors degree required in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or Therapy degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2 years of experience in SNF, ALF or Hospice required.
- Licensed nursing home administrators (LNHA) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
