Company Information
Mountain Valley Property Management (MVPM) is a full-service property management company serving homeowners’ associations and private homeowners in the Vail area. MVPM is also affiliated with Mountain Valley Maintenance, which provides a full complement of maintenance ability to MVPM, including landscaping, snow removal, and handyman services. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Position Summary
The primary function of this position is to assist in the operation of community associations in our portfolio. Communication and organization are the key values for this position.
Responsibilities
- Interact and communicate with Property Owners, Board Members, vendors, and suppliers to solve problems, address concerns, and schedule work.
- Review financial statements and prepare Association budgets under the supervision of a CAM.
- Plan and execute detailed property inspections.
- Produce property reports, work orders, and compliance tickets.
- Track and report on action items and deliverables.
- Facilitate and attend Association meetings with a CAM. Meeting attendance will be required outside of normal business hours.
- Build a solid relationship with Property Owners and Board members through frequent interaction.
- Response to after-hours emergencies will be required from time-to-time.
- Work cooperatively with internal staff
Position Requirements
- Solid understanding of computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Effective in-person, telephone, and email communication skills. Proper grammar, spelling, and professional composition experience are necessary components of communication.
- Strong organizational skills to keep up with a high volume of communication, electronic files, and documentation of work.
- Track and record time and material expenditures.
- Ability to satisfy background and driving record screening requirements.
- Personal transportation to and from work.
Position Preferences
- Prior experience with community association management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended time periods.
- High phone and computer volume requiring hearing and screen reading.
- Long periods of typing with accuracy

Work Location On-site, one location in Eagle Vail. Occasional travel for errands and to meetings within Eagle Valley from East Vail to Gypsum. Travel will be done in a company vehicle during business hours.
