Company Information
Mountain Valley Property Management is a full-service property management company serving homeowners’ associations and private homeowners in the Vail area. We are hiring a property inspector to join our team. This is a full time, year-round position.
Position Summary
The primary function of this position is to support the management and maintenance teams by documenting property condition on a routine basis. Communication and organization are the key values for this position.
Wage $25 per hour starting wage. Raises will be negotiated annually and based on performance reviews. Bonuses may be given at the discretion of the company.
Schedule Minimum of 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, work days flexible. Meeting attendance may be required outside of normal business hours. Response to after-hours emergencies may be required from time-to-time. This position has the ability to work a shifted schedule (ie Wednesday to Sunday) or a 4/10 work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Document property conditions for homeowners association common areas, private homes, and unit interiors
- Identify and document safety issues, maintenance items, problems, and deterioration
- Create service requests, project tracking items, and other documentation of items found
- Present findings weekly at a staff meeting
- Assist in managing vendors, providing access, and other support tasks
- Communicate with unit owners, homeowners, and association Board members
- Support management and maintenance teams in organizational tasks
Requirements
- Comfortability with mobile applications and desktop computing
- Fluency in English
- Effective in-person, telephone, and email communication skills
- Ability to track and record time and material expenditures
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to satisfy background screening requirements

Work Location On-site, one location in EagleVail. Continual travel for work and to meetings within Eagle Valley from East Vail to Gypsum. A company vehicle is provided for travel for work tasks.
Physical Requirements
- High phone and computer volume requiring hearing and screen reading
- Long periods of typing with accuracy
- Ability to work outside in varying climate and weather conditions, including below freezing
- Ability to walk for extended time periods
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
