Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team at Mountain View Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing top-tier medical care, a love for animals, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and routine check-ups.
- Perform a variety of surgeries, including spay/neuter, soft tissue, and other necessary procedures.
- Offer dental care, including professional dental cleanings and treatments.
- Provide care to exotic pets, including medical treatments and surgeries.
- Offer nutritional counseling and weight management guidance to pet owners.
- Provide laser therapy treatments for pain and inflammation.
- Educate pet owners about preventive care and the long-term health of their pets.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active veterinary license to practice in Vermont or ability to obtain one.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in surgery and dental care is preferred.
- Ability to work with a variety of animal species, including exotic pets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, caring, and empathetic approach to animal care.

Pay: $135,269.00 - $144,934.00 per year
