About Mountain View
Mountain View is a leading provider of quality lumber and building materials, serving both residential and commercial customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Develop and execute sales strategies and goals to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Monitor sales activities, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the management team.
Customer Service Excellence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any customer-related challenges.
Market and Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about market trends and customer demands to make informed decisions on product offerings and pricing.
- Provide customers with expert advice on lumber and metal products, their applications, and industry standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the internal sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lumber or metal materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of lumber and metal products, their applications, and the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficient in using sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Expected work hours are 7 am to 4:00 pm.
