Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Report Validation Specialist to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
The Population Health Report Validation Specialist staff member will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data derived from multiple sources. There will be a focus on streamlining information for our organization to enhance utilization of patient health data in an effort to improve population health outcomes. The Report Validation Specialist will be involved in reviewing and validating established reporting from the information derived from EMRs and additional sources. In this position, you will conduct relevant data mining and analysis, research, and validation to help provide accurate and actionable data to team members with the end-goal of improving patient health outcomes while decreasing healthcare spending within our organization and affiliated clinics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and validate provided reporting
- Collaborates on delivery of routine and ad hoc reporting
- Help to ensure organization meets goals for productivity and quality of care
- Researches and collaborates to create solutions to problems noted in the reporting
- Interacts professionally with clinic and ancillary staff members
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to manager, co-workers and physicians.
- Perform information review and record audits

Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Experience/education in healthcare data science, HIM, RHIT, or related field
Experience: 6 months required experience, preferred 1-2 years data analysis. Data visualization/management experience strongly recommended
Equipment/Technology: Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI and other Microsoft Office applications. EMR software.
Language/Communication: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Basic Math skills
Mental Capabilities: Must have the ability to critical think in high stress situations and have excellent technical abilities. Can concentrate for long periods of time in order to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately. Must possess strong analytical abilities in order to evaluate the provided information and offer suggestions for error. Have the ability to work in a dynamic environment where numerous projects occur at the same time, organization and attention to detail is a must. Can understand input from the supervisor and/or manager concerning errors and instructions.
Interpersonal: Ability to work well with others.
Performance: Must be able to handle conflict issues with peers.
