Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Web Developer/Continued Professional Development Associate for CME/Medical Staff page to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
The Web Developer is responsible for using knowledge of programming languages to code the website and web applications, building and optimizing a secure web page for evolving needs, and providing continued support for website and web applications. Collaborates with all stakeholders to determine needs and design preferences as well as balancing usability, visual appeal, and technical feasibility of the designs. Works closely with CME Coordinator and Residency Coordinator to aid the smooth running of those programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and optimize a secure web site for evolving needs.
- Provide continued support for one or more web properties.
- Code and script applications.
- Create branding and identity systems for websites, apps, and other media applications while maintaining MVH brand integrity.
- Design graphics, icons, and logos.
- Create wireframes of mockups for web pages and applications.
- Design layouts for mobile, tablets, and desktop devices.
- Collaborate with CME Coordinator and Residency Coordinator and other stakeholders concerning the direction of the website.
- Perform routine site audits as well as ongoing site maintenance.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders involving program and web development.
- Work with CME Coordinator on CME announcements, set up, and camera operations.
- Assist CME Coordinator with implementation of enduring educational activities.
- Video editing for CME and Residency program.
- Maintain current professional knowledge and conduct while adhering to the standards of MVH.
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with coworkers and resolve problems.
- Well-developed creative and analytical thinking skills and the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in daily tasks.

Education/Certification: Bachelors degree in web development or related field preferred.
Experience: Experience as a web developer, graphic designer or related field preferred. Demonstrable graphic design skills with strong portfolio. Proficiency with video operations and editing.
Equipment/Technology: Proficiency with common coding languages, required desktop publishing tools, including Microsoft and Adobe creative software.
Language/Communication: Ability to read, speak, and write in English
Mathematical Skills: Intermediate math skills
Mental Capabilities: A strong eye for visual design and composition. Ability to critically think, be self-motivated and individually manage tasks and responsibilities. Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Requires attention to detail and the ability to assimilate large amounts of information.
Interpersonal: Effectively and professionally communicate with administration, managers, staff and coworkers.
Performance: Requires strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Requires ability to work independently and with groups/teams as an effective team member.
