About the Position
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to patient care by working closely with radiologists and assisting in various procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering oral and IV contrast, evaluating patients for allergic reactions, and ensuring correct placement of IVs during exams.
- Loading and operating MedRad power injectors.
- Operating CT scanning equipment, adhering to ALARA standards, and following physician protocols.
- Assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
- Maintaining a clean work environment and stocking department supplies.
- Providing patient assistance during transfers onto and off the scanner table.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (RCT).
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
- Minimum one year of experience required.
