About the Job
This PRN position offers flexibility and variety in your work schedule. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for administering oral and IV contrast, evaluating patients for allergic reactions, and ensuring proper IV placement for exams. You will also operate CT scanning equipment, maintain a clean work environment, and assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
- Administer both oral and IV contrast.
- Evaluate patients for any signs of allergic reactions.
- Place correct IVs for the exam being performed.
- Operate and understand CT scanning equipment.
- Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies and linens.
- Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT (CT) certification.
- Current Radiology Technologist license through the state of employment.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
