Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about radiologic imaging to join our team as a CT Technologist Part-Time. In this role, you will be responsible for administering both oral and IV contrast; evaluating patients for any allergic reactions; placing correct IVs for exams being performed.
- Administer oral and IV contrast safely and effectively.
- Evaluate patients for any signs of allergic reactions and take necessary precautions.
- Place correct IVs for exams being performed.
You will also operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. Additionally, you will assist interventional radiologists with procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
