What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Network Specialist position at Mountain View School District - El Monte?
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services or designee; plans, coordinates, implements, operates, and maintains the Mountain View School District Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), telecommunications systems, and video distribution operations in support of the District’s educational goals; researches, tests, evaluates, and recommends data, telecommunications and video systems hardware and software; coordinates the use of personal computers and other devices as they are used on the District network; provides technical support and assistance to end users; will diagnosis, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the network and network system; works with Business Services, Educational Services, and site administrators to develop, submit and implement E-rate application and telecommunication projects; directs the daily operations of the Educational Services Technology Department.
